For 2006-2009 models with radio software versions prior to ST10 v8.21.0 and TMS320 v8.19.0, it may be desirable to update the software to get more VOX (voice-activated) microphone adjustment at the upper settings.
For the latest software, see a Harley-Davidson dealer or visit www.harley-davidson.com to download a copy to your computer and write/burn a CD.
NOTE
Since the material that will be written to the CD is data, a record speed of 8X or slower must be used.
To download a copy of the software to your computer:
  • On www.harley-davidson.com, search for the phrase "Advanced Audio Software".
  • Scroll down to the "H-D Advanced Audio by Harmon/Kardon®" link.
