NOTE
  • This bag must be installed with the front pocket over the backrest pad.
  • When installed on a luggage rack, the bag must not exceed the load limit of the luggage rack.
  • Secure the bag to the luggage rack and backrest pad so that the bag will not shift during vehicle operation.
  • Verify that the straps do not contact the rear wheel during vehicle operation.
  • Refer to the SPECIFICATION section in the Owner's Manual for recommended tire inflation pressure and gross axle-weight rating. Do not exceed the vehicle's gross axle-weight rating.

INSTALLATION
1. See Figure 1. Slide the bag over the luggage rack so that the pocket (1) at the bottom of the bag covers the rack (2).

2. See Figure 1. Pull the pocket (3) at the front of the bag firmly over the backrest (4).
3. See Figure 2. Connect the straps from the front pocket to the connectors at the bottom of the bag. Tighten the straps until snug.
4. See Figure 3. Feed the loose strap ends through the ladder clips as shown.
5. Slide ladder clips so there is 1 inch of loose strap end.
NOTE
Be certain that after bag installation, excess strap material is secured with the ladder clips so that straps do not rub against painted surfaces. Strap material rubbing against painted surfaces may scratch or scuff the paint.
Failure to properly adjust straps and ladder clips may cause the straps to block the view of the tail lamp.
6. Check to be certain the bag is secure on the rack and backrest. Secure loose straps, strings and other material so that it cannot get caught in the wheel spokes or scuff the paint while you travel.
