Models
This kit fits front and rear break calipers on 2000 and later models, except Springer front calipers, 2004 and later XL models, and 2006 and later VRSC models.
INSTALLATION
NOTE
Do not install this kit if ambient temperature is less than 60° F. Inserts may be installed directly over the stock inserts.
| 1. | Clean the surface of the brake-caliper insert area with a 50/50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water. Allow the cleaned surface to dry. | |||||
| 2. | Peel the backing off of a brake-caliper insert. Use a tweezer to hold and precisely position the insert. | |||||
| 3. | See Figure 1. Carefully place the insert (1) on the brake caliper (2) within the recessed area on the caliper. Apply even pressure to the insert for at least 1 minute. |
