INSTALLATION
| 1. | See Figure 1. Snap spring clip (1) into groove on backside of fuel valve cover (2). Be sure that clip is orientated and centered as shown. | |||||||||||
| 2. | Position fuel valve in "on" position. | |||||||||||
| 3. | Position fuel valve cover (2) with set screw hole up on the top, closest to the fuel tank, and slide onto valve so the spring clip (1) goes under handle of valve. | |||||||||||
| 4. | Rotate knob to "off" position to gain access to set screw hole. | |||||||||||
| 5. | Apply Loctite 243 Blue (Harley-Davidson Part Number 99642-97) to set screw (4) and tighten while pressing fuel valve cover flat against fuel valve. | |||||||||||
| 6. | Return valve to "on" position. The notch will be in the down position. |

| 7. | Remove backing from medallion (3). Place medallion onto face of fuel valve cover in desired orientation. | |||||||||||
| 8. | Remove backing from label (5) and apply to top of fuel valve cover making sure it is orientated to read correctly. |
