INSTALLATION
- Unlock and open the seat. Refer to the VRSC Owner's Manual.
- See Figure 1. Hold the document holder in position on the underside of the seat frame, positioning to provide adequate clearance from the seat tether (2), and the rear seat pillion mounting bolt (3). Note the locations of the Velcro hook fasteners on each end of the document holder.
- Clean the underside of the seat with the alcohol wipe from the kit.
- Peel the backing from the Velcro loop fasteners, and install on the seat frame as determined in Step 2, so that the document holder fasteners will attach firmly.
- Install the document holder with the "zipper" side up, and press into place.
NOTICE
When closing the seat, make sure the ignition switch is in the FUEL position. If the ignition switch is in any other position when the seat is closed, the seat latch mechanism could be damaged. (00196a)
- Turn the ignition switch to FUEL, then close the seat, and turn the ignition switch to LOCK.
WARNINGAfter installing seat, pull upward on seat to be sure it is locked in position. While riding, a loose seat can shift causing loss of control, which could result in death or serious injury. (00070b)
