Additional Parts Required
This kit requires a new inspection cover gasket. See the appropriate Parts Catalog or a Harley-Davidson dealer for information on your model motorcycle.
INSTALLATION
| 1. | Remove original equipment screws and primary chain inspection cover. NOTE On 1995 and later models only, when installing cover, use the two 2-1/2 inch long cover screws (3) in the top and rear holes. For 1994 and
earlier models, use the four 3/4 inch long cover screws (4). | |
| 2. | See Service Parts Illustration. Install new gasket, inspection cover (2), nylon washers (1), and screws (3,4) as shown. Tighten screws to 6–9 N·m (50–80 in-lbs). |
