Models
Kit Number 44491-01 fits Front and Rear RIGHT brake calipers on all 2000 and later models (Except Springer front calipers, 2004 and later XL models, and 2006 and later VRSC models.)
Kit Number 44492-01 fits Front and Rear LEFT brake calipers on all 2000 and later models (Except Springer front calipers, 2004 and later XL models, and 2006 and later VRSC models.)
INSTALLATION
| 1. | Leave current caliper insert installed. | |
| 2. | Clean existing caliper insert thoroughly with a soft cloth dampened with rubbing alcohol. | |
 WARNINGAfter servicing brakes and before moving motorcycle, pump brakes to build brake system pressure. Insufficient pressure can adversely affect brake performance, which could result in death or serious injury. (00279a) | ||
| 3. | Remove adhesive backing from new caliper insert and hold it in place over the existing caliper insert. Press the new insert firmly to activate the adhesive. |
This Bar and Shield emblem is packaged loose to allow precise final positioning on an accessory after the accessory has been installed.
- Peel backing off of the emblem.
- Carefully place emblem in the desired position in the round counterbore, pressing firmly to activate adhesive.
