INSTALLATION
| 1. | Refer to the appropriate Owner's Manual and remove the stock seat. | |
| 2. | See Figure 2. If an ECM block (1) is already installed on the motorcycle, discard the ECM block, screw and nut included in this kit and proceed to Step 5. | |
| 3. | See Figure 1. Remove the forward ECM mounting screw (1) and nut (2). | |
| 4. | See Figure 2. Install the socket head screw, nylon locknut and ECM block (1) from the kit in the location of the removed screw. Tighten screw to 4–6.8 N·m (36–60 in-lbs). | |
 WARNINGAfter installing seat, pull upward on seat to be sure it is locked in position. While riding, a loose seat can shift causing loss of control, which could result in death or serious injury. (00070b) | ||
| 5. | Refer to the appropriate Owner's Manual and install the new seat in the same manner as the stock seat. |
