Is a 19 inch Front wheel designed for installation on 2006 and later Dyna model motorcycles except FXDWG.
Kit 41309-06
Is a 17 inch Rear wheel designed for installation on 2006 and later Dyna model motorcycles.
Kit 41461-06
Is a 17 inch Rear wheel designed for installation on 2000 and later FXSTD model motorcycles.
Additional Parts Required
WARNING
Rider and passenger safety depend upon the correct installation of this kit. Use the appropriate service manual procedures. If the procedure is not within your capabilities or you do not have the correct tools, have a Harley-Davidson dealer perform the installation. Improper installation of this kit could result in death or serious injury. (00333b)
NOTE
This instruction sheet references Service Manual information. A Service Manual for your model motorcycle is required for this installation and is available from a Harley-Davidson Dealer.
NOTE
This kit contains the necessary parts for wheel installation. You will need to save the axle, axle nut, washer, lockwasher, sleeve, brake disc and wheel spacers for re-installation.
NOTE
If a stock laced front wheel is being replaced, the separate purchase of a brake rotor, part number 44553-06A is required.

Kit Contents
There are no Service Parts available with this kit.
FRONT WHEEL INSTALLATION
1. See Figure 1 for a list of items to retain for installation of the new front wheel.
2. Remove the front wheel per the FRONT WHEEL, REMOVAL instructions in the Service Manual.
3. Disassemble, clean and inspect all parts to be re-used per Service Manual instructions.
4. Re-assemble all saved components to the new front wheel assembly. See FRONT WHEEL, ASSEMBLY in the Service Manual.
NOTICE
Do not re-use brake disc/rotor screws. Re-using these screws can result in torque loss and damage to brake components. (00319c)
5. Using new screws and washers, fasten brake disc to the front wheel.
WARNING
Whenever a wheel is installed and before moving the motorcycle, pump brakes to build brake system pressure. Insufficient pressure can adversely affect brake performance, which could result in death or serious injury. (00284a)
WARNING
After repairing the brake system, test brakes at low speed. If brakes are not operating properly, testing at high speeds can cause loss of control, which could result in death or serious injury. (00289a)
6. Install the new front wheel to the front forks with lettering on the left side per the FRONT WHEEL, INSTALLATION instructions in the Service Manual.
REAR WHEEL INSTALLATION
1. See Figure 2 for a list of items to retain for installation of the new rear wheel.
2. Remove the rear wheel per the REAR WHEEL, REMOVAL instructions in the Service Manual.
3. Disassemble, clean and inspect all parts to be re-used per Service Manual instructions.
4. Re-assemble all saved components to the new rear wheel assembly. See REAR WHEEL, ASSEMBLY in the Service Manual.
NOTICE

NOTE
Apply two drops of Loctite® 262 (red) (Harley-Davidson part number 94759-99) to each of the five sprocket mounting screws. Follow the bolt torque procedure in your Service Manual or, if installing an accessory hardware kit, in the instruction sheet included with the hardware kit.

MAINTENANCE and CLEANING
Chrome parts must be maintained regularly to ensure that they keep their original shine and luster.
  1. Clean heavily-soiled wheel surfaces using Harley Wheel and Tire Cleaner, Part Number 94658-98, applied with Harley Wheel and Spoke Brush, Part Number 43078-99.
  2. Thoroughly clean chrome with a good quality chrome cleaner, such as Harley Bright Chrome Cleaner, Part Number 94683-99.
  3. After cleaning and polishing, seal the finish with a good quality sealer such as Harley Glaze Polish and Sealant, Part Number 99701-84.
