This kit will only fit on Twin Cam models if they are equipped with the following Screamin' Eagle accessories:
  • Kit 27713-08, 58 mm throttle body, ETC.
  • Kit 27300033, 64 mm throttle body, ETC, with Kit 27300035, 64 mm oval port intake manifold.
WARNING
Rider and passenger safety depend upon the correct installation of this kit. Use the appropriate service manual procedures. If the procedure is not within your capabilities or you do not have the correct tools, have a Harley-Davidson dealer perform the installation. This instruction sheet references service manual information. A service manual for your model motorcycle is required for this installation and is available from a Harley-Davidson Dealer.

INSTALLATION
WARNING
When servicing the fuel system, do not smoke or allow open flame or sparks in the vicinity. Gasoline is extremely flammable and highly explosive, which could result in death or serious injury. (00330a)
  1. Refer to the owner's manual to locate and remove the main fuse.
  2. Refer to the service manual for your motorcycle for fuel injector replacement. Refer to Section 9, FUEL INJECTION, Fuel Rail/Fuel Injectors of the applicable service manual for instructions.
Calibrate the ECM
NOTICE
You must recalibrate the ECM when installing this kit. Failure to properly recalibrate the ECM can result in severe engine damage. (00399b)
NOTE
Calibrations are available with the EFI Super Tuner only.
Installation of this kit requires a calibration update using EFI Super Tuner. If cylinder heads are equipped with ACR's, failure to download calibration update before starting motorcycle can result in ACR failure.
  1. Before calibrating the ECM, if cylinder heads are equipped with ACR's, disconnect the ACR harnesses. Not disconnecting the ACR harnesses can cause ACR failure.
  2. Refer to the owner's manual to install the main fuse.
  3. Have the dealer recalibrate the ECM prior to starting the vehicle.
  4. Reconnect the ACR overlay harnesses.
