This kit fits Buell models equipped with translucent air box covers.
INSTALLATION
| 1. | Refer to the appropriate Owner's Manual and remove the seat. | |
| 2. | Remove four stock air box cover mounting screws and plastic washers. Discard two forward mounting screws and washers. NOTE See Figure 1 for Steps 3-5. | |
| 3. | Install two of the isolating washers (3) from the kit over the two top hat bushings from the kit (2). | |
| 4. | Install two of the isolating washers (3) from the kit onto the two screws from the kit (2). | |
| 5. | Secure the air box cover (A) as shown by installing the top hat bushings and isolating washers to the air box cover from the inside. Then secure the cover to the frame with the screws and isolating washers. | |
| 6. | Secure the rear of the air box cover (A) with the remaining stock screws and stock plastic washers. | |
| 7. | Tighten the screws to 4 N·m (36 in-lbs). | |
| 8. | Refer to the appropriate Owner's Manual and install the seat. |
