Gasoline can drain from components when disconnected from fuel pump/filters/fuel level sender assembly. | 2. | Refer to the appropriate Service Manual and remove the fuel pump and sender assembly from the motorcycle. | |
| 3. | See Figure 1. Refer to the appropriate Service Manual and remove the pressure regulator (A) from the fuel pump and sender assembly. Discard stock small O-ring (2) and regulator screen (3) and large O-ring (1). | |
| 4. | See Figure 1. Assemble seal (B), large O-ring (1), regulator screen (3) and small O-ring (2) onto the regulator as shown. | |
| 5. | Install regulator spacer (4) into the pressure regulator bowl oriented as shown. | |
| 6. | Install pressure regulator assembly into pressure regulator bowl and secure with retaining clip (C). | |
| 7. | Install ground clip (D). | |
| 8. | Refer to the appropriate Service Manual and install the fuel pump and sender assembly into the motorcycle. | |
| 9. | Refer to the appropriate Service Manual and install the Maxi fuse. |
