For all 1999-Early 2003 Models (except V-Rod) with bulb socket assembly part numbers 68832-99 or 68833-99.
NOTE
See Table 1. Retain this instruction sheet for future reference. The replacement part numbers in this instruction sheet for bulb, socket assembly and lens supersede part numbers shown in the 1999 through 2003 parts catalogs.
Additional Parts Required
Electrical Contact Lubricant (part number 99861-02) is required for proper installation of this kit. It can be purchased from any Harley-Davidson Dealer.
REMOVAL
- See Figure 1. Remove two screws (1) and lens (4) from base. Save screws for installation. Discard lens.
- Press locking tab and remove 4-pin multilock connector (3) from circuit board.
- Remove bulb and socket assembly (2) and discard.

INSTALLATION
| 1. | Coat base of new bulb (2) with electrical contact lubricant. Install new bulb in socket (3). | |
| 2. | Install bulb and socket assembly into lens (1). | |
| 3. | Connect 4-pin multilock connector to circuit board. | |
| 4. | Install lens with two screws (A) (removed earlier). Tighten screws to 2.3–2.7 N·m (20–24 in-lbs). Do not over-tighten. | |

| 5. | Turn ignition ON and test for proper lamp operation. |
