This kit fits 2004 and later FLHRS, 1986 and later Touring, 1986 Softail models equipped with Swept Wing-Shaped Rider Footboard Kit, Part Number 50631-04 or Swept Wing Footboard Pans, Part Number 50683-04 (right) and 50688-04 (left).

See Figure 1 and Table 1.
INSTALLATION
  1. Apply liquid dishwashing soap to the footboard-insert rubber beads protruding through the bottom of the footboard.
  2. With the operator footboard in the "up" position, use a screwdriver to work the rubber footboard beads out through the top of the footboard.
  3. Apply liquid dishwashing soap to the rubber beads on the new footboard insert.
  4. Place the footboard insert into position on the footboard. Use a pliers to pull each rubber bead into its footboard hole until the beads protrude through the footboard.
  5. Repeat the above steps for the remaining footboard insert.
NOTE
Avoid the contact of chrome surfaces with abrasive materials (stones, sand, etc.) as damage will result.
