The screw and washer in this kit replace the stock starter mounting screw, lock patch and captured washer (part no. 4615) on 2007 and 2008 Touring models.

Additional Parts Required
Proper installation of this kit requires the use of Loctite® 243 Threadlocker and Sealant - Blue (99642-97).
Kit Contents
This kit contains one starter mounting screw and one washer.
INSTALLATION
  1. See the service manual for starter installation procedure.
  2. Apply a small amount of Loctite 243 (blue) to the screw before installing the screw and washer. Tighten screw to 33.9–36.6 N·m (25–27 ft-lbs).
