NOTE
This instruction sheet references service manual information. A service manual for your model motorcycle is required for this installation and is available from a Harley-Davidson Dealer.
Kit Contents
See Figure 1 and Table 1.
REMOVAL
  1. See the service manual and follow the front fork removal procedures.
  2. Remove the two OE fork cover screws. Save screws for installation.
  3. Slide the OE fork cover off the front forks.
INSTALLATION
See Figure 1. The Fork Slider Covers included in this kit install in the same manner as the original equipment parts. Refer to the service manual for proper installation procedures.
1. Apply Loctite 243 to threads of screws.
2. Install the new fork slider cover and two screws on the front fork. Tighten to 2.7–5.4 N·m (24–48 in-lbs).
3. Follow the installation instructions to install and adjust the front forks.
