PREPARATION
NOTE
Mounting surfaces must be above 60°F (16°C), or the pads may not adhere.
NOTICE
Do not clean with denatured alcohol, mineral spirits, or other solvent products, or component damage may occur. (00411c)
  1. Using a 50:50 isopropyl alcohol/water solution, thoroughly clean the surface where the pads will be installed.
  2. Allow the surface to dry completely before continuing to install kit.
    3. NOTE
    Tank pads cannot be repositioned after initial installation. Verify that they are properly aligned before pressing into place.
  3. Hold the tank pads in desired location. Apply masking tape to serve as a guide for locating the tank pads for installation.
    4. NOTE
    Let the adhesive cure for at least 24 hours at no less than 60°F (16°C).
INSTALLATION
  1. Install the pads to the tank.
    1. Remove the liner from the tape and apply the tape.
    2. Apply in desired location.
    3. Press firmly from the inward side to the outward side of the tank.
  2. Repeat on other side.
