This kit fits 2009-2013 FLHP and FLHTP Police model motorcycles.
NOTE
This accessory must be removed when vehicle is sold for non-police use. Follow all applicable federal, state and local regulations when changing to a civilian vehicle.
Installation Requirements
Separate purchase of a Pole Strobe Lamp Kit is required for proper installation of this Lower Pole Light Bracket Kit. See the Harley-Davidson Police and Fleet Motorcycle catalog or the Police and Fire/Rescue section of www.harley-davidson.com (English only) for Pole Strobe Lamp kits.
These instructions describe the installation of the lower pole light bracket only. Refer to the instructions provided with the Pole Lamp kit for the remainder of the pole lamp installation.
INSTALLATION
| 1. | See Figure 1. Assemble the lower pole light bracket (1) to the upper and lower saddlebag guard rails (2) with U-bolts (3) and flange nuts (4) from the kit. Do not fully tighten. | |
| 2. | Install the pole strobe lamp per the instructions in that kit. | |
| 3. | Tighten the U-bolt flange nuts to 6.8–9.5 N·m (5–7 ft-lbs). |
