REMOVAL

Removal procedures for this kit are the same as the original equipment (OE) removal installation procedures in the service manual front wheel removal instructions.

NOTE

For CVO models: Remove stock wheel speed sensor cover. Use of a small soft mallet may be required.

Save the ABS wheel speed sensor (WSS) and discard stock wheel spacer(s).

INSTALLATION

For ABS equipped motorcycle models:
1. Place ABS wheel speed sensor on a stable block of wood.
2. See Figure 1. (1) Position ABS sensor cover on sensor with slot lined up to wire connection.
3. Use masking tape or clean cloth to protect the finish on sensor cover.
4. Place a block of wood on cover and with a soft mallet, tap cover onto sensor until sensor cover is (2) flush with sensor or (3) seated with slight protrusion of sensor.
For all models: Installation instructions are the same as OE. See service manual for front wheel installation instructions.
