INSTALLATION
| 1. | Loosen screw from original equipment (OE) headlamp trim ring and remove ring. Set mounting ring aside. Save screw and nut for re-installation. Loosening or removal of lightbar may be required to access headlamp screw for models. See Figure 2 to remove lightbar, loosen or remove screws (1). | |||||||||
| 2. | See Figure 1 Position the trim ring so clamp (1) feature is at the bottom. Place top of trim ring over the tabs at the top of the headlamp bucket (2). | |||||||||
| 3. | Rotate the trim ring until the bottom can be positioned over the right tab, then rotate the ring to position the ring over the left tab. | |||||||||
| 4. | Rotate the trim ring to center the clamp. Verify engagement of both sides of trim ring. | |||||||||
| 5. | Install the screw and nut that was set aside in step 1. Tighten. Torque: 1.3 N·m (12 in-lbs) | |||||||||
| 6. | See Figure 2. For models that required loosening or removal of lightbar, clean threads of screws and chase holes. Apply threadlocker to threads of screws (1).LOCTITE 243 MEDIUM STRENGTH THREADLOCKER AND SEALANT (BLUE) (99642-97) | |||||||||
| 7. | Install screws (1). Tighten. Torque: 27–34 N·m (20–25 ft-lbs) |
