This kit is designed for installation on 1999 and later Twin-Cam Model motorcycles.

A service manual for your motorcycle is available at your Harley-Davidson Dealer.

INSTALLATION
| 1. | Remove original screws and cover. Save all screws for installation. | |
| 2. | Install new timer cover using hardware saved in Step 1. Tighten screws. Torque: 3.5 N·m (31 in-lbs) |
NOTE
Because the Timer Cover is new and some lightening of the original black finish on the engine may have occurred over time, use S100 Engine Restorer and Brightener (Part Number 99849-97) to improve the overall match between the cover and engine. S100 Engine Restorer and Brightener is available at your Harley-Davidson Dealer.
