PREPARATION
NOTE
Mounting surfaces must be above 60°F (16°C), or pads may not adhere.
NOTICE
Do not clean with denatured alcohol, mineral spirits, or other solvent products, or component damage may occur. (00411c)
  1. Using a 50:50 isopropyl alcohol/water solution, thoroughly clean surface before installing pads.
  2. Allow surface to dry completely before continuing to install kit.
    3. NOTE
    Tank pads cannot be repositioned after initial installation. Verify that they are properly aligned before pressing into place.
  3. Hold tank pads in desired location. Apply masking tape to serve as a guide for locating the tank pads for installation.
    4. NOTE
    Let adhesive cure for at least 24 hours at no less than 60°F (16°C).
INSTALLATION
  1. See Figure 1. Install pads to tank.
    1. Remove liner from adhesive on back of pad.
    2. Apply in desired location.
    3. Press pad firmly against tank.
  2. Repeat on other side.
