If the procedure is not within your capabilities or you do not have the correct tools, have a Harley-Davidson dealer perform the installation. | 3. | Remove Original Equipment (OE) shifter lever (4) from shifter lever mounting bracket (1). | |
| 4. | Remove shifter link screw (7) and shifter link (6). | |
| 5. | Discard OE shifter lever (4). |
