Installation Requirements
WARNINGRider and passenger safety depend upon the correct installation of this kit. If the procedure is not within your capabilities or you do not have the correct tools, have a Harley-Davidson dealer perform the installation. Improper installation of this kit could result in death or serious injury. (00308b)
INSTALL
| 1. | See Figure 2. Remove and discard screw from rear seat bracket. | |
| 2. | Slide nylon washer over threaded portion of knurled knob. | |
| 3. | Install knurled knob with nylon washer into threaded fender hole to secure rear of seat. Tighten with fingers only. | |
| 4. | See Figure 1. Remove backing paper from H-D emblem (1) and install emblem on top of knurled knob (2). | |
| 5. | Pull up on the seat to verify that it is secure. |
