1. | See Figure 1. Open the zippers (1) on the zippered pocket (2) on the rear of the bag. Unbuckle the backrest mounting buckles (3). | |||||||
2. | Position the bag over the passenger pillion with the zippered pocket facing the passenger upright. Slide the zippered pocket down over the passenger upright until the bag is sitting on the pillion. NOTE Do not install Roller Bags on models equipped with rear speakers. Damage to the speakers could result. | |||||||
3. | See Figure 2. Secure the backrest mounting buckles around the backrest and tighten. Tighten the side straps on either side of the backrest pad. Close the zippers on both sides of the pocket as far as they will go. NOTE Depending on the size of the backrest pad, the zippers may not close all the way. This is acceptable. The zipper pulls will remain locked in place no matter where they are positioned along the zipper track. |

4. | See STRAP CONFIGURATIONS and Table 1 to select the appropriate straps and mounting configuration for the motorcycle being fitted. Attach the straps to the bottom mounting buckles on the bag. NOTE See Figure 3. The bottom mounting buckles (2) are stored inside zippered storage pockets (3) on the bottom of the Universal Roller Bag. |

5. | Secure the mounting straps according to the installation method recommended in Table 1 and the corresponding strap configuration photos. Tighten the mounting straps so the bag feels stable, with minimal movement on the vehicle. See Figure 4. Tuck excess strap material into the strap keeper (2) on each mounting strap (1). |
