2. | Remove outer fairing. |
1. | See Figure 1. Remove the access screws (3) at the back of the radio (1). Save access screws for installation. | |
2. | Remove and discard access panel (2). | |
3. | Install SiriusXM module. a. See Figure 8. If installed, remove plastic pin guard (A) from SiriusXM module (2). b. See Figure 1. Align connectors of the SiriusXM module and radio. c. Hold SiriusXM module parallel to radio. d. Gently slide SiriusXM module straight into position. f. Inspect foam seal around entire module for gaps. | |
4. | Install access screws. Tighten. Torque: 0.34–0.56 N·m (3–5 in-lbs) |

1. | If equipped: Remove audio amplifier. a. See Figure 4. Use a flat blade screwdriver to pull the latch down to release the connector. b. See Figure 5. Disconnect amplifier [149]. c. Remove nuts (2) securing amplifier bracket (3) to mount (5). d. Lift amplifier and pull studs (9) from grommets (8) to release. |

4. | Disconnect voltmeter [111] (5). | |
5. | Disconnect harness retainer (4), and position harness out-of-way. | |
6. | Remove front screw (6). | |
7. | Loosen rear screw (7). | |
8. | Install SiriusXM bracket (1). | |
9. | Install front screw. | |
10. | Tighten both front and rear screws. Torque: 5.4–6.8 N·m (48–60 in-lbs) | |
11. | Connect voltmeter [111]. | |
12. | If necessary: Connect P&A accessory power [299]. | |
13. | If equipped: Connect right front tweeter/midrange [34T]. | |
14. | Connect harness retainer. | |
15. | If equipped: Install audio amplifier. a. See Figure 5. Install studs into grommets (8). b. Install nuts (2). Tighten. Torque: 8.1–10.8 N·m (72–96 in-lbs) c. Connect amplifier [149]. | |
16. | See Figure 8. Clean mounting surfaces of antenna (1) and bracket. Refer to Adhesive Strips. | |
17. | Once dry, install adhesive pad (4) to bracket and install antenna onto adhesive pad. | |
18. | Route antenna wire following existing harness routings. | |
19. | See Figure 6. Connect SiriusXM antenna (5) to SiriusXM module (4). | |
20. | See Figure 8. Install cable straps (3) to secure antenna cable to existing harnesses. |
