Installation Requirements

WARNING

Rider and passenger safety depend upon the correct installation of this kit. If the procedure is not within your capabilities or you do not have the correct tools, have a Harley-Davidson dealer perform the installation. Improper installation of this kit could result in death or serious injury. (00308b)

REMOVE

1.	Figure 2 Remove Original Equipment (OE) lens (1).
2.	Remove bulb (2).

INSTALL

1.	Figure 4 Install connector end of LED assembly (1) to bullet housing (2). NOTE Figure 3 Reference label (3) on front of LED for proper orientation.
2.	Figure 3 Align LED assembly so that hinge (1) is in the 12 o'clock position and drain hole (2) in the six o'clock position. NOTE If insert does not snap into place easily, cover insert with a piece of cloth and gently tap with a rubber mallet. Verify that lens is flush with housing. Snaps may not be heard if using rubber mallet to assist with install. A clamp may assist in properly seating the LED assembly due to force required. Protect the finishes from scratches and mar when using a clamp.
3.	Figure 4 Install LED assembly (1) into bullet housing (2). a. Figure 3 Install hinge (1) into groove at top of bullet housing. b. Swing bottom of LED assembly into bullet housing. c. Snap into place.
4.	Repeat on other side.

NOTE

After installation of new turn signal inserts, verify proper operation. If turn signals appear to flash quickly, BCM will need to "learn" the new current setting of LED inserts. To put BCM in this "learn" mode, flash hazards for 30 seconds. Then turn hazards off and recheck flash rate of turn signals
