Installation Requirements
WARNINGRider and passenger safety depend upon the correct installation of this kit. If the procedure is not within your capabilities or you do not have the correct tools, have a Harley-Davidson dealer perform the installation. Improper installation of this kit could result in death or serious injury. (00308b)
PREPARE
| 1. | Figure 1 Bond medallion (2) to console cover (1). a. Medallion should be evenly spaced. | |
| 2. | Figure 2 Test fit console cover (3). | |
| 3. | Clean console (2) area with isopropyl alcohol. Dry with a lint free cloth. | |
| 4. | Use a grease pencil to mark location. |
INSTALL
- Ambient temperature during installation must be at least 68° F (20° C).
- Installation at temperatures below 68° F (20° C) will cause failure of the adhesive bond.
- Do not sand or scuff surface where inserts are to be installed.
- After installing, allow a minimum of 24 hours before exposing the area to vigorous washing, strong water spray or extreme weather.

| 3. | Press firmly in place with steady pressure for one minute. |
