Installation Requirements
Loctite® 271 Threadlocker and Sealant - Blue (Part No. 99671-97) to secure the screws.
WARNING
Rider and passenger safety depend upon the correct installation of this kit. If the procedure is not within your capabilities or you do not have the correct tools, have a Harley-Davidson dealer perform the installation. Improper installation of this kit could result in death or serious injury. (00308b)

See Figure 1 and Table 1.
INSTALLATION
  1. All Models Follow owner's manual instructions to remove the existing rear light bar. Retain screws (C)
  2. Domestic Models Follow owner's manual instructions to remove lens and bulb. Discard old rear light bar. HDI Models Discard old light bar.
  3. All Models Follow owner's manual instructions to install the existing rear light bar. Use screws (C) removed in step 1. Install all other components or parts that were previously removed.
WARNING
Be sure that all lights and switches operate properly before operating motorcycle. Low visibility of rider can result in death or serious injury. (00316a)
