Models
This Police Tour-Pak® Kit is designed for installation on 2014 and later FLHP and FLHTP (Police) model motorcycles.
Verify that the most current version of the instruction sheet is used. It is available at: www.harley-davidson.com/isheets
Contact Harley-Davidson Customer Support Center at 1-800-258-2464 (U.S. only) or 1-414-343-4056.
NOTE
This accessory must be removed when vehicle is sold for non-police use. Follow all applicable federal, state and local regulations when changing to a civilian vehicle.
Installation Requirements
Separate purchase of Adapter Plate (53196-09) is required.
WARNING
Rider and passenger safety depend upon the correct installation of this kit. Use the appropriate service manual procedures. If the procedure is not within your capabilities or you do not have the correct tools, have a Harley-Davidson dealer perform the installation. Improper installation of this kit could result in death or serious injury. (00333b)
NOTE
This instruction sheet refers to service manual information. A service manual for this year/model motorcycle is required for this installation and is available from a Harley-Davidson dealer.
Various Tour-Pak configurations shown in Figure 14.
LED emergency lights are sold separately in a variety of colors. Installation of LED lights requires separate purchase of an auxiliary battery (H-D Part No. 65989-97C).
Both Tour-Paks can accommodate up to 9 LED lights which requires a separate purchase of 1-3 expander harness (69201092) if installing 3 or more lights.
  • 53000712 has pre-drilled holes for: (4) 68000286 and (3) 68000277
  • 53000714 can be drilled to accommodate any LED light. For the appropriate drill pattern, refer to the isheet for the LED light. LED harness (69202388) must be purchased to enable LED lighting.
Electrical Contact Lube (H-D Part No. 99861-02) or equivalent is required for the proper installation of this kit. This item is available from a Harley-Davidson dealer.
For harnesses that still have AMP 070 8 pin connector, use harness (68000137) to connect Tour-Pak at connector [7B] (AMP 070, 8 pin) to [7A] (MOLEX MX150, 6 pin) on main harness.
