Installation Requirements

WARNING

Do not exceed Tour-Pak weight capacity. Too much weight can cause loss of control, which could result in death or serious injury. (00401c)

NOTE

Combined load of luggage rack and Lid Organizer must not exceed 4.5 kg (10 lb).

Combined load of luggage rack, Lid Organizer and Tour-Pak must not exceed 13.6 kg (30 lb).

PREPARE

See Figure 1 or Figure 2 for appropriate kit. Use the alcohol wipes (2) included in the kit to clean the interior Tour-Pak lid surface. Allow surface to dry.

INSTALL

1.	See Figure 1 for kits 53000392 and 53000302 and apply the "hook" side of each hook-and-loop tape (3-6) to the lid organizer (1) in mounting locations as shown. a. Be certain to use all of the hook and loop tape provided to ensure adequate adhesion. b. Remove protective liner from the "hook" side of each tape while keeping the "loop" side adhered together. c. Apply pressure to both the lid organizer and each piece of hook and loop tape for 30 seconds to secure adhesive.
2.	See Figure 2 for kit 53001129 and apply the "hook" side of each hook-and-loop tape (3-7) to the lid organizer (1) in mounting locations as shown. a. Be certain to use all of the hook and loop tape provided to ensure adequate adhesion. b. Remove protective liner from the "hook" side of each tape while keeping the "loop" side adhered together. c. Apply pressure to both the lid organizer and each piece of hook and loop tape for 30 seconds to secure adhesive.
3.	See Figure 1 or Figure 2 for appropriate kit. Install lid organizer (1) into Tour-Pak lid. a. Remove protective liner from each "loop" side of tape. b. Install the lid organizer to the Tour-Pak lid. Locate the cut-out of the lid organizer around the tether reel. Be sure to minimize the forces acting on the Tour-Pak hinges. c. Apply opposing pressure to both the lid organizer and the outside of the Tour-Pak lid in each tape location for 30 seconds to secure adhesive. d. Press the sides of the lid organizer and lid together in the same manner, particularly targeting the areas of the hook-and-loop tape, for 30 seconds at each piece of tape to secure adhesive.

COMPLETE

Allow the hook and loop tape to cure for 48 hours at 70° F. Do not place items in the organizer until the adhesive has cured.
