Installation Requirements
WARNINGRider and passenger safety depend upon the correct installation of this kit. If the procedure is not within your capabilities or you do not have the correct tools, have a Harley-Davidson dealer perform the installation. Improper installation of this kit could result in death or serious injury. (00308b)
REMOVE
| 1. | See Figure 1. Remove brake pedal pad from foot brake lever. Discard pad and hardware. |
INSTALL
| 1. | Kits 50600182, 50600187, 50600188: a. Align new brake pedal pad (1) with recess in trim cover (2). | |
| 2. | Kits 50600509, 50600510, 50600623, 50600624, 50600695: a. Align new brake pedal assembly (3) with vehicle foot brake lever. | |
| 3. | Insert threaded stud through holes in trim cover and vehicle foot brake lever. | |
| 4. | Install washer (4) onto threaded stud. | |
| 5. | Install locknut (5) onto threaded stud and tighten. |

- For Kits: 50600623, 50600624, 50600695. 8.8 N·m (78 in-lbs)
