Installation Requirements
Separate purchase and installation of Riser Kit (Part No. 55900067) is required for installation of this kit on your model motorcycle. This is available from a Harley-Davidson dealer.
Rider and passenger safety depend upon the correct installation of this kit. Use the appropriate service manual procedures. If the procedure is not within your capabilities or you do not have the correct tools, have a Harley-Davidson dealer perform the installation. Improper installation of this kit could result in death or serious injury. (00333b)

Kit Contents
This kit contains a handlebar .
This handlebar installs in the same manner as the original equipment (OE) handlebar. See the service manual to remove and install the handlebar and risers.
Be sure that steering is smooth and free without interference. Interference with steering could result in loss of vehicle control and death or serious injury. (00371a)
  • Riser Kit (Part No. 55900067) must be installed. Follow the instructions supplied with the riser kit.
  • Make sure clutch cable and front brake line do not pull tight when handlebar is turned to left or right fork stops.
  • Make sure hand controls do not touch the fuel tank when turned to left or right fork stops.
