INSTALLATION
NOTE
Water may enter Tour-Paks/saddlebags with flag mast installed during inclement weather.
NOTE
Attaching a flag mast to a Tour-Pak or saddlebag without wear pads in place may result in damage to the Tour-Pak or saddlebag exterior. Periodically check to verify the flag mast remains in contact with wear pads.
See Figure 1. Remove the adhesive backing from the wear pads and fasten them where the mast base contacts the painted Tour-Pak or saddlebag.
Fasten the flag mast bracket over the pads on the Tour-Pak or saddlebag as shown.
NOTE
Attaching flag mast to Tour-Pak or saddlebag without rubber pads in place may result in damage to exterior of Tour-Pak or saddlebag.
Cut the self-adhesive rubber pad in half.
Remove the adhesive backing from the rubber pads.
See Figure 2. To stabilize the flag mast laterally, place on pad on either side of the flag mast bracket on the inside of the Tour-Pak or saddlebags.
