INSTALLATION
- See the REAR WHEEL section of the Service Manual for brake rotor (disc) and wheel inspection, removal and disassembly procedures
WARNINGUse Harley-Davidson replacement fasteners. Aftermarket fasteners can adversely affect performance, which could result in death or serious injury. (00013a)
- After market fasteners may not have the specific property requirements to perform properly.
- Place a few drops of Loctite® 243 (blue) on the threads of the new chrome screws from the kit. Install the brake disc using ONLY the new chrome screws. Torque the screws to 40 ft-lbs (54 Nm).
NOTICE
Do not re-use brake disc/rotor screws. Re-using these screws can result in torque loss and damage to brake components. (00319c)
