1. | Using a 50:50 isopropyl alcohol/water solution, thoroughly clean the dash panel surfaces surrounding the dash switches and beneath the ignition switch knob. Also clean the surfaces of the media door and its mirror image molded into the left side of the inner fairing. NOTE The parts cannot be repositioned after initial installation. | |||||||
2. | See Figure 1. Get the media door trim panel. With the adhesive backing still in place, position the panel over the media door. Hold the panel in position and apply a small piece of masking tape along its outer edge. |

3. | Apply a second piece of masking tape to the inner fairing next to the first piece of tape. | |||||||
4. | Draw an alignment mark across both pieces of tape. | |||||||
5. | Remove the panel and then remove its adhesive backing. | |||||||
6. | Position the panel by aligning the marks and install the panel to the media door. | |||||||
7. | Apply firm, sliding pressure across the entire panel to make sure that there is good adhesion to the media door. | |||||||
8. | Remove the masking tape. | |||||||
9. | Repeat the same general procedure for all of the parts in the kit. |
