Models
This disc lock fits front brake discs on all 1983 and later model Harley-Davidson motorcycles, except those with a 19 inch laced front wheel. Does not fit front disc of VRSCA rotor.
Kit Contents
Kits include lock, two keys and a lock reminder cord. Lock reminder cord can be purchased separately, Part Number 46318-04.
INSTALLATION
NOTE
Insert key all the way to bottom of cylinder. Turn key clockwise 180 degrees to open position. DO NOT FORCE KEY! Key should turn freely. If key does not freely rotate, try turning key slightly left and right while inserted in lock to align disks inside lock cylinder. Failure to insert key all the way to bottom of cylinder could cause key to jam.
Key cannot be removed from key cylinder when in "unlock" position.
For Models with Hydraulic Fork Front Ends

| 2. | Slide lock (1) over front brake disc as close to rearward edge of brake caliper (2) as possible. Push button completely down to lock. | |||||||
| 3. | Roll motorcycle forward slowly until lock gently contacts caliper. | |||||||
| 4. | See Figure 3. After installing disc lock, place loop end (1) of reminder cord (2) over handlebar grip. |
For Models with Springer Front Ends

SECURING MOTORCYCLE
Attach Harley-Davidson® U-lock to front or rear rotor/disc or drive belt sprocket making sure wheel cannot freely rotate. Position lock keeping it raised off the ground with key mechanism facing downwards to prevent thieves from attempting to leverage or crush lock.
- Lock motorcycle in well lit areas.
- Create a snug fit with frame and or wheels so that there is little room in disc lock for thieves' tools to get leverage.
- Do not lock motorcycle in the same area all the time.
- Keep motorcycle locked at all times.
- Do not leave motorcycle unguarded without being locked.
KEY SAFE-FREE KEY REGISTATION AND KEY REPLACEMENT PROGRAM
For as long as the customer owns the lock, if keys are lost and key number has been registered with Kryptonite, Kryptonite will send first pair of standard replacement keys for FREE. To register keys, complete form on Kryptonite’s website at Kryptonitelock.com
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
NOTE
Do not use WD-40®.
WD-40 is a solvent, not a lubricant and will remove lubricant in cylinder.
Lubricate lock several times a year to keep lock in optimum working condition. Always use a lubricant that has a silicone, graphite or Teflon™ base.

| 4. | Place a rag on workstation. | |
| 5. | Turn lock over onto rag for a few minutes. |

ANTI-THEFT PROTECTION OFFER (ATPO):
Kryptonite’s Anti-Theft Protection Offer (“Offer”) is an optional Offer that reimburses registered customers up to a specific monetary amount in the event their bike or powersport vehicle is stolen due to unintended opening or breaking of lock by force. ATPO is available to customers who purchase certain U-locks, chains, disc locks and folding locks (ATPO noted on package and on website) in the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and the United States. To locate ATPO protection amount, look for sticker on front of Kryptonite lock package or check product page on Kryptonite’s website ( kryptonitelock.com ). To be eligible a customer must register online at Kryptonite website ( kryptonitelock.com ) within 30 days of lock purchase. All reimbursements under such Offer are subject to Kryptonite Offer’s terms and conditions.

If a customer does not have internet access, they may request registration documents by contacting Kryptonite in the United States via phone at 800-SAY-LOCK (729-5625) or 001 781-828-6655. Following information is required for registration: Customer contact details, lock information including a copy of itemized receipt of purchase, key number of subject lock, vehicle information including vehicle type (bike/powersport), base cost, serial #, an itemized copy of bill of sale, and an image of bicycle or powersport vehicle.
NOTE
If a customer has a custom or used bike or powersport vehicle and does not have a copy of bill of sale, please provide an appraisal from a dealer that reflects current value of bike or powersport vehicle.
Registration fees range from $9.99 for a one (1) year period to $29.99 for a five (5) year period. Products designed by Kryptonite as High & Ultimate security products are free to register for one (1) year and range up to $24.99 for five (5) years. If eligible (based on Offer terms and conditions), Kryptonite will reimburse customer lesser of 1) base cost of bike or powersport vehicle, excluding tax and accessories, in accordance with amount listed for subject lock; or 2) theft deductible under any applicable insurance policy.
REMINDER
Cables and accessories are NOT covered under this Offer. If a customer purchases a U-lock/cable combination pack, U-lock is the only product covered under this Offer. Any theft occurring with cable is not covered, as the cable is a secondary deterrent. See product packaging for specific details on proper use of this type of product.
