2. | Assemble and install new brake disc. See service manual. NOTE Avoid hard stops for the first 300 miles. Hard stops during wear-in period will gall brake discs. a. Place a few drops of threadlocker on threads of new chrome screws from kit.LOCTITE 243 MEDIUM STRENGTH THREADLOCKER AND SEALANT (BLUE) (99642-97) b. Install the brake disc using ONLY the new chrome screws. Tighten. Torque: 54 N·m (40 ft-lbs) | |
3. | Kits 41500174 and 41500175: a. Align groove found on face on rotor with a spoke next to valve stem. b. If bolt holes do not line up, move rotor to align groove with another spoke next to valve stem. |
