Installation Requirements
Separate purchase of additional parts or accessories may be required for proper installation of this kit on your model motorcycle. Refer to the latest Harley-Davidson Genuine Motor Accessories and Genuine Motor Parts catalog for a list of required parts or accessories for your model.
WARNING
Rider and passenger safety depend upon the correct installation of this kit. Use the appropriate service manual procedures. If the procedure is not within your capabilities or you do not have the correct tools, have a Harley-Davidson dealer perform the installation. Improper installation of this kit could result in death or serious injury. (00333b)
NOTICE
Improperly aligned handlebars or components can contact the fuel tank when turned to the left or right. Contact with the fuel tank can cause cosmetic damage. (00372b)
REMOVE
NOTE
Re-install grommets (2) if they come off with the cover (1).
1. Figure 2 Remove oil cooler cover (1).
a. Pull lower part of cover out and away from motorcycle.
b. Detach upper portion of cover from motorcycle.

ASSEMBLE
NOTE
After kit 57200269 has been painted, assemble the following parts.
1. Figure 1 Install adhesive pads (2 and 3).
a. Align adhesive pads (2 and 3) with ribs on bask side of chin spoiler.
2. Install grille (5).
3. Install push nuts (6).
INSTALL
NOTE
Inspect paint on kits 57200269 and 57200261xxx prior to installation.
1. Figure 5 Install upper grommet (1) into frame crossmember.
a. Upper grommet (1) may be lubricated to ease installation.

2. Install chin spoiler.
a. Install lower half of chin spoiler (3) to lower grommets (2).
b. Install upper half of chin spoiler (3) to upper grommet (1).
