If the procedure is not within your capabilities or you do not have the correct tools, have a Harley-Davidson dealer perform the installation. Improper installation of this kit could result in death or serious injury. (00308b)
INSTALL
| 1. | Install new shift peg (1, 2). a. Holding the shift lever (A) in place. b. Align the new shift peg (1) and screw (2) with shift lever. c. Install peg assembly. Tighten. Torque: 10.5–12 N·m (93–106 in-lbs) | |
