INSTALLATION
NOTE
Water may enter Tour-Paks/saddlebags with flag mast installed during inclement weather.
NOTE
Attaching a flag mast to a Tour-Pak or saddlebag without wear pads in place may result in damage to the Tour-Pak or saddlebag exterior. Periodically check to verify the flag mast remains in contact with wear pads.
1. See Figure 1. Remove adhesive backing from wear pads and place on area where mast base contacts painted portion of Tour-Pak or saddlebag.
2. Attach flag mast to Tour-Pak or saddlebag.
NOTE
Attaching flag mast to Tour-Pak or saddlebag without rubber pads in place may result in damage to exterior of Tour-Pak or saddlebag.
3. Cut adhesive rubber pad in half.
4. Remove adhesive backing from rubber pads.
5. See Figure 2. To stabilize flag mast laterally, place one pad on either side of flag mast bracket on inside of Tour-Pak or saddlebags.
