INSTALLATION
NOTE
To avoid scratching the fuel tank finish, first wash and wax tank. Before placing bra on tank, check to make sure that the bra liner is free from any foreign objects that may scratch the tank surface.
  1. Attach the short elastic strap at the back of the bra under the frame tube.
  2. Kit 57798-00A: Stretch the long elastic strap over the front edge of the fuel tank and attach the two ends under the tank vent tube and wire harness. Place the strap against the frame tube. Kit 57799-00: Stretch the long elastic strap over the front edge of the fuel tank and place it against the frame tube.
  3. See Figure 1 and Figure 2. Arrange the bra to fit snugly around the tank as shown.
  4. Arrange the long elastic strap under each side of the fuel tank and smooth out any wrinkles in the bra.
    5. NOTE
    If bra becomes wet, it should be removed and allowed to air dry.
