Additional Parts Required
Loctite® 243 (Blue) Threadlocker and Sealant (H-D Part Number 99642-97) is required for the proper installation of this kit.

INSTALLATION
NOTE
Remove and replace one screw before removing the next.
| 1. | FL models: Remove one front fender attaching screw and hex flanged locknut. Discard only the screw. FX models: Remove one front fender attaching screw, acorn nut and two flat washers. Discard only the screw. | |
| 2. | Apply a drop of Loctite® 243 (blue) to the threads of a new chrome screw from the kit. Install the screw with the saved hardware from Step 1. Tighten to 20.3–28.5 N·m (15–21 ft-lbs). | |
| 3. | Repeat for the remaining three screws. |
