This kit is designed to fit 2006 and later Dyna model motorcycles with an original equipment (OE) solo seat. This kit is required to install 2-up seats on FXD and FXDB.

INSTALLATION
1. Remove OE seat assembly.
2. Thoroughly wash rear fender with soap and water.
3. Rinse with clear water and dry with a clean cloth.
4. Swab the fender with isopropyl alcohol and dry thoroughly.
5. Cut template in half along dotted line.
6. Cut out seat bumper locating squares.
7. See Figure 1. Position rear half of template (3) on fender, align locating hole (1) on template with existing hole in rear of fender.
8. Gather two seat bumpers (2) from kit. Remove the paper backing to expose the adhesive. Press the seat bumpers firmly into place.
9. Remove rear half of template from fender.
10. See Figure 2. Position front half of template (3) on fender, align locating hole (1) on template with existing hole in front of fender.
11. Gather two seat bumpers (2) from kit. Remove paper backing to expose the adhesive. Press the seat bumpers firmly into place.

12. Remove template from fender.
13. Install seat.
WARNING
After installing seat, pull upward on seat to be sure it is locked in position. While riding, a loose seat can shift causing loss of control, which could result in death or serious injury. (00070b)
