NOTE

Flags are not intended for highway use. The construction of these flags will not hold up to the wind speeds seen at highway speeds. These flags are designed for parade use only.

INSTALLATION

NOTE

This kit will only fit 1/2" round bar luggage racks.
The aluminum strip marked with a "B" included in kit is used on painted luggage racks. The aluminum strip marked with a "C" is used on chrome luggage racks.

1.	See Figure 1. Select aluminum strip "B" (6) or "C" (7) from kit based on luggage rack finish.
2.	Form aluminum strip on luggage rack until a "C" shape is achieved. Install on luggage rack in desired location.
3.	Place spring clip (8) over formed aluminum strip.
4.	Install flag to underside of mast (as shown). NOTE Top clamp (5) has one hole. Bottom clamp (9) has two holes.
5.	Place top and bottom clamp into position over spring clip.
6.	Place mast assembly into hole in top clamp.
7.	Install small screw (10) from kit in bottom clamp.
8.	Install large screw (11) into bottom clamp and screw to mast.
9.	Holding flat area of mast (A) with wrench, tighten large screw to 13.6 N·m (120 in-lbs).
10.	Tighten small screw to 1.7 N·m (15 in-lbs). Make sure both screws have been tightened to their proper torque.
