INSTALLATION
| 1. | See Figure 1. Remove the original muffler end cap. Retain the three clip nuts (A). See the service manual. | |
| 2. | Slide the three clip nuts (A) onto the bosses of the end cap mounting ring (2). | |
| 3. | Install mounting ring into end cap (1). Align holes. | |
| 4. | Align holes in end cap (1) with those in muffler (B). Slide end cap into muffler body. | |
| 5. | Install the three screws (3). Tighten securely. | |
NOTICE Wipe all fingerprints off of exhaust system components after installation and before starting engine. Oil from hands can leave permanent marks on exhaust system finish. (00346a) | ||
| 6. | Wipe end cap and muffler to remove fingerprints and any other oils or dirt. |
