Installation Requirements
Kits require separate purchase of a Detachable Tour-Pak Rack. See the P&A Retail Catalog or the Parts and Accessories section of www.harley-davidson.com (English only) for the proper rack for you particular vehicle.

NOTE
A service manual for your motorcycle is available from your Harley-Davidson dealer.
WARNINGDo not exceed Tour-Pak weight capacity. Too much weight can cause loss of control, which could result in death or serious injury. (00401c)
NOTE
The luggage rack weight capacity is 25 lbs (11.34 kg).
INSTALLATION
| 1. | Remove the foam mat from the bottom of the Tour-Pak. | |
| 2. | Ensure the holes in the bottom of the Tour-Pak are unobstructed so that the mounting screws may pass through easily. | |
| 3. | Attach Tour-Pak to rack using the mounting screws. Insert screws through the inside of Tour-Pak. Tighten. Torque: 6.8–8.1 N·m (5–6 ft-lbs) | |
| 4. | Place foam mat into the bottom of the Tour-Pak. | |
| 5. | Install Tour-Pak assembly onto vehicle according to kit instructions or service manual instructions. |
