Installation Requirements

WARNING

Rider and passenger safety depend upon the correct installation of this kit. If the procedure is not within your capabilities or you do not have the correct tools, have a Harley-Davidson dealer perform the installation. Improper installation of this kit could result in death or serious injury. (00308b)

REMOVE

1.	See Figure 2. Remove outer fairing (1) from grommets (2). a. Pull fairing (1) by pulling directly forward on outer edge towards front of vehicle.
2.	See Figure 1. Remove OE screws (B).
3.	Remove OE wind screen (1).

INSTALL

1.	Install new carbon fiber speed screen (1) to fairing (A) using OE screws (B).
2.	Secure screws (B). tighten. Torque: 0.5–0.65 N·m (4–6 in-lbs)
3.	See Figure 2. Install outer fairing (1). a. Align fairing (1) with grommets (2). b. Install fairing (1) on grommets (2).
