WARNING
Rider and passenger safety depend upon the correct installation of this kit. Use the appropriate service manual procedures. If the procedure is not within your capabilities or you do not have the correct tools, have a Harley-Davidson dealer perform the installation. Improper installation of this kit could result in death or serious injury. (00333b)

  • Legal for use on public roads only when installed in the specified models. Not legal for use on public roads when installed in models other than the ones specified. Contact a Harley-Davidson dealer for warranty statement.
NOTE
This instruction sheet references service manual information. A service manual for the year and model motorcycle is required for this installation and is available from:
These items are available at your local Harley-Davidson dealership.
  • Kit requires Electronic Control Module (ECM) recalibration. Contact a Harley-Davidson dealership.
  • A separate purchase of an Header Assembly (Part No. 65600177) to maintain compliance. See a Harley-Davidson dealer.
NOTE
10-Plate assist and slip clutch used in Milwaukee-eight vehicles has sufficient capacity to support this kit for most applications. Only install higher capacity springs if clutch slippage occurs. Higher capacity springs will increase clutch lever effort.
