Installation Requirements
WARNING
Rider and passenger safety depend upon the correct installation of this kit. Use the appropriate service manual procedures. If the procedure is not within your capabilities or you do not have the correct tools, have a Harley-Davidson dealer perform the installation. Improper installation of this kit could result in death or serious injury. (00333b)
REMOVE
NOTE
Careful not to scratch paint or surface.
1. Remove Original Equipment (OE) clutch cover using plastic pry tool or fishing line.
INSTALL
NOTE
Only install screws with clutch cover in place to prevent permanent damage to primary cover.
It is not recommended to remove clutch cover once it is installed. These covers are not intended for multiple installations.
1. See Figure 1. Install clutch cover (1).
2. Align clutch cover holes to clutch case holes on vehicle.
3. See Figure 2. Secure with screws in a star pattern sequence. Tighten.
Torque: 6.5–9 N·m (58–80 in-lbs)

MAINTENANCE
Kits 14101390 and 14101402 contains exposed aluminum. Protect exposed aluminum with Harley-Davidson Protective Wipes (93600063), which reduces corrosion.
